The 2020 National Collegiate Equestrian Association National Championship will take place April 15-18, 2020 at the Extraco Events Center in Waco, Texas, in partnership with the City of Waco and McLennan County.
Due to COVID-19, the 2020 NCEA National Championship has been cancelled.

NCEA National Championship Team Title: The top 8 teams will be competing in the NCEA National Championship Team Title. Each team will compete head to head with 4 riders in each of the Events: Fences and Flat for the Jumping Seat events and Reining and Horsemanship for the Western events. The team that receives the most points (16 possible points available for each matchup) will advance to the next day. The team competition begins on Thursday with the quarterfinals and the semifinals. The conclusion of the team events run on championship Saturday.
NCEA National Championship Event Titles: The top 16 teams will compete in separate brackets for each event; Fences, Flat, Horsemanship and Reining starting on Wednesday, April 15 with the first round of action. Each event quarterfinals and semifinals will take place on Friday, April 17 and the finals for each event will take place on Championship Saturday following the Team Overall National Championship.
NCEA National Championship Discipline Titles for Jumping Seat and Western: The combined points each team accrues in the NCEA Jumping Seat Discipline Competitions (Fences and Flat) and the NCEA Western Discipline Competitions (Horsemanship and Reining) will determine the Overall Discipline titles.
- Schools may qualify teams for each of the event titles – schools do not need to enter teams in both disciplines. Schools with single discipline teams are now eligible for NCEA National titles.
- All competitive opportunities will be organized in the bracket head-to-head format (event titles and team title).
- Seeding for the event title competitions is based on regular season NCEA competitions for the four different events. To be eligible for seeding for any NCEA National Championship title, teams are required to compete in a minimum of three head-to-head competitions in the NCEA format.
